Concert by organist Iveta Apkalna

On February 21, 2026, world-famous organist Iveta Apkalna will perform a special concert at the Ventspils Concert Hall “Latvija”. It will be a unique event to launch Iveta Apkalna’s latest album, which features the music of Pēteris Vasks and Arvo Pērt. A musical testament to hushed peace and inner light — a journey into silence, faith, and eternity.

Iveta Apkalna's new album with the music of Pēteris Vasks and Arvo Pērt was recorded at the concert hall "Latvija", released by the prestigious publishing house "Berlin Classics" and marks a historic event in the Latvian musical landscape - the first recording of the majestic organ of the Ventspils Concert Hall.

The concert is organized by SIA “Kurzemes filharmonija” with the support of the Ventspils City Municipality and the State Cultural Capital Foundation.
