David Chevallier Trio & Anett Tamm
David Chevallier Trio & Anett Tamm
« Borders » original songs, acoustic jazz (France, Estonia)
“Borders” brings the collaboration of French and Estonian jazz artists to the stage of Latvija. The central theme of this new work by French composer and guitarist David Chevallier, set to lyrics by Estonian singer Anett Tamm, is the border – a place where one can move from one universe to another, from one culture to another, where one can face the unknown or confront oneself.
David Chevallier has been one of the outstanding figures on the French creative jazz scene for many years. The trio he put together in 2013 with double bassist Sébastien Boisseau and drummer Christophe Lavergne has become a telepathic unit and a corner stone of his projects in recent years. After a successful tour in August 2021, the trio comes back to Latvia with the singer Anett Tamm, one of the most promising artists of the new Estonian jazz scene.
Anett Tamm - voice, lyrics, electric guitar
David Chevallier - hybrid guitar, compositions
Sébastien Boisseau - acoustic bass
Christophe Lavergne - drums
