Linda Leen. Second Wave

On May 23, the premiere of the second part of the mini-album trilogy WAVES by musician Linda Leen will take place at the concert hall “Latvija”. The first wave has already been magnificently performed at concerts in Riga and Cēsis, while in Ventspils, listeners are invited to meet the continuation of this story – the second wave of the trilogy, which marks the next chapter in the musician’s autobiographical, musical novel.

The mood of second wave music marks the move towards summer, playing with ease, euphoria and drunk musical moods. At this concert, it will be performed live for the first time, having become available digitally to listeners only shortly before this event. Along with the first and second parts of the trilogy, the concert will also feature the audience's favorite compositions "Magnetic Storm", "Blue Monday", "Uzar mani kā zemi" as well as other songs from the musician's repertoire.

Linda Leen invites you to open the doors to summer and discover new sounds in an evening filled with melancholic euphoria together with musicians Miķelis Putniņš (guitar), Rihards Lībietis (guitar), Krišjānis Bremšas (percussion) and Kristians Priekulas (bass). The music this evening will be played in a unified, continuous program, where new material flows into already familiar songs, revealing the second chapter of the musical novel.
