LES ITINÉRANTES | FR
The members of Les Itinérantes met while studying music theatre, having various backgrounds in early music, jazz and world music. The resulting merger of styles led to the ensemble’s repertoire now encompassing eleven musical styles, nine centuries and 19 languages. In keeping with their name, they travel from one time and place to another, creating images, stories and feelings with their voices

The musicians offer a musical journey through the centuries in fourteen world languages. From the Middle Ages to Edith Piaf and Corsican polyphony, the trio passionately explores the infinite possibilities of the human voice and the way languages of all kinds resonate in music and within us.

JMO | CH/ SN/ IL
The music of JMO - Jan Galega Brönnimann (Switzerland), Moussa Cissokho (Senegal) and Omri Hason (Israel) is a reminiscence of the art of storytelling. The trio creates a tension of traditional and modern music from Africa, Europe and the Middle East. The sparkling sound of the Kora (African Harp with 26 strings) meets the warm tone of the Bass Clarinet and the oriental percussion.„Tandoula Tala“ is the second release of the trio. It means „no borders!“ in Mandinka, a language spoken in Gambia, Mali and Senegal. The songs are written by the three musicians and reflect their different backgrounds. At their unforgettable live concerts the three oscillate between magically transfigured moments and rhythmically explosive heights. Listening to the music of JMO is an unforgettable adventure thanks to its merging of different musical traditions, the band’s unique line-up and its wealth of ingenious melodies and rhythms.
