Solala & Venda. Sing Together

The vocal group "Solala" from Sweden and the Grand Prize winners of the Song Festival, the choir "Venda," will perform together in a joint program titled "Sing Together".

"Solala" has redefined what a vocal group can sound like. They've been described as a "vocal power trio" and with a unique idiom an and a repertoire that's diverse to say the least, Solala has rewritten the book on how a vocal group can sound like. Their music videos from the kitchen has attracted a huge audience and have for the past years brought the kitchen table with them as a live performance act. They have released three studio albums, published a book, made collaborations with many of Swedens biggest artists and toured all over the world.

The Ventspils Culture Centre women's choir "Venda" is one of Latvia's most talented and active choirs. They are the Grand Prize winners of the Song Festival and laureates of numerous international competitions, festivals, and choir forums. The choir is led by conductors Anitra Niedre and Rudīte Tālberga.

The concert is organized by SIA "Kurzemes filharmonija" in collaboration with the association "Mazā prinča planētas", The Swedish-Latvian Cooperation Fund, Foundation Sing Latvia and the State Cultural Capital Fund.
