Ventspils Jazz Club

Friday evening is meant for celebration – music, the joy of meeting and a special atmosphere. Continuing to celebrate spring, the concert hall's Small Hall will transform into a lively jazz club, where we invite you to enjoy music in a free-form concert – relaxed, closer to the artists and each other.

This evening, the usual concert hall environment will take on a completely different vibe. There will be a bar, conversations will take place at the tables, which at times will continue into dancing. It is an opportunity to see and hear the concert hall in other tones – free, lively, with an atmosphere typical of a jazz club.

The evening's musical program will be performed by the Ventspils Big Band and singer Jūlija Zakirova. The owner of an expressive and nuanced voice, she has collaborated with many outstanding musicians and various musical ensembles. Jūlija is also a composer, so the concert will feature not only beloved jazz melodies, but also her original music.

One drink is included in the ticket price. Snacks and drinks will be offered throughout the evening by the restaurant and cocktail bar SILRAK.

Organized by SIA “Kurzemes filharmonija” with the support of the Ventspils City Municipality and the State Cultural Capital Foundation.
